When I first started training with Al, I never could have imagined the journey I was embarking on in terms of my wellbeing and fitness. Al is an exceptional personal trainer, and, on another level, he has a wealth of infinite knowledge and “walks the walk”. I have witnessed all the other trainers in the gym asking his advice and guidance too. He has motivated, inspired, and facilitated me to surpass over and beyond all my goals. I never thought I would lose two stone, reduce my body fat by 13% and be wearing a bikini and loving it! He has encouraged and supported me every step of the way by designing outstanding bespoke realistic training that ts my lifestyle and needs and educated me on eating habits and nutrition. He goes above and beyond, is very compassionate and has made me feel comfortable whilst training with him, motivating, and pushing me to reach my potential. He has worked hard with me, encouraging me to increase my investment in my fitness, with consistent positivity and ‘a you’ can do it attitude. Results are long term and sustainable. My whole attitude about fitness has changed, and I now make fitness a priority in my life. On a personal note, Al is a lot of fun to work out with and aside from being an excellent, professional personal trainer I consider him an amazing friend. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone who has any kind of dream to be healthier and fitter.
Whenever I’m in London, Al has always been the person I’ve gone to when I’ve needed to reach that certain goal I have. He has such a depth of knowledge and he always gives you 100% in terms of commitment and focus as a trainer which is what everyone needs. You can tell he loves challenges and is always looking for ways to help and improve clients and because he has a background in rehabilitation work- it’s so good to train with someone who cares about any injuries you have and working with recovery and strength. He has always helped to me refocus my mindset when it comes to understanding nutrition and putting it into practice. This is a tough ask when you know how much I like sugar- yet he has somehow made me understand food better. It’s really sad when you see how excited he gets when he discovers a new specific exercise catered for you-he actually dreams about this stuff! My progress pictures if he has them will show what he can do with someone like me and he’s the best trainer I have ever met in all my years. The only thing going against him is that he is a Liverpool fan-but no one is perfect!
I started training with Al regularly after failing to reach fitness goals on my own after having two children. I had very high expectations when it comes to trainers, and Al came highly recommended. He delivered right away, and continues to do so. I particularly like how technical and knowledgeable he is – which enables me to trust him and push myself without worry of injury. He has a great community of loyal clients. He regularly organises training sessions as a group, which is inspiring and most of all, a lot of fun. I highly recommend Al to anyone who wants to become stronger and fitter in a safe environment that is kind to your body and mind.
